An online store owner traveled around 500 miles just to beat up his customer who left a bad review on his shop. The woman, who was the receiving end of the attack, was hit in the face and legs and was pushed to the floor by the shop owner, and the whole incident was captured by a CCTV nearby.
According to a report, the victim, Xiao Die, complained about the clothes that she ordered as they arrived four days late. She bought the items for a total of 300 yuan on December 20, but she noticed that her order has not been dispatched three days later.
On December 27, while at the delivery pickup point in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, was the day she was assaulted. After the victim fell to the ground, the attacker, Mr. Zhang, immediately stormed off, taking her purse with him.
A bystander was also seen at the side of the path, but the person did not do anything to stop the attack. Xiao Die was then taken to the hospital to get treatment. However, she still received a message from Mr. Zhang telling her that he traveled 530 miles away to “teach her a lesson.”
In a report made by Daily Mail, the victim believed that the man who had been bugging her and sending her plaguing texts is Mr. Zhang. He reportedly sent her the message ‘I can destroy you’ on December 23 after she left a bad review on his online store
On January 6, he was arrested by the Erlijiang Police in Zhengzhou. He received a 10-day detention while his online store was deducted 12 points. Eventually, his shop’s account was removed from the online marketplace.
