Moira Dela Torre gained recognition for her stint in the talent show “The Voice Philippines.” Ever since then, she has released songs that are usually played on the radio such as “Torete,” “Love Me Instead,” “Tuwing Umuulan,” and “Titibo-tibo,” among others.
Recently, a schoolgirl caught the attention of the public when she sang an impressive rendition of Moira’s “Titibo-tibo” in a mall. The moment was recorded on camera and uploaded to the Facebook account of a certain Jelian Kate Escol.
Currently, it has gained 120,000 views, 5,300 likes and reactions, 1,402 shares, and around 715 comments as of this writing.
Most of the netizens commented “ganda ng voice,” “lakas maka mall show,” and “kaboses nice,” among other things. Others noticed the voice of the one who took the video and said that she was “magulo.”
One netizen said that it might have occurred in SM Marilao in Bulacan, although the comment was neither confirmed nor denied by the uploader.
When the schoolgirl began to sing, two SM salespeople waved in the background with a smile. Meanwhile, her friends seemed in awe that she sang in the public, based on their reactions in the video.
This was probably why some netizens stated that they were “magulo” during that time.
Eventually, other mallgoers flocked to watch the schoolgirl as she sang “Titibo-tibo.” They cheered for her when she continued to belt out lyrics with emotion.
At some point in the video, her friend exclaimed, “Whoah, ang galing!” with obvious amazement.
The schoolgirl gave her a look of disbelief but sang all the way, determined to finish her performance. “Lodi, pa-picture!” the friend said with a laugh.
“Titibo-tibo” is one of Moira Dela Torre’s latest singles in 2017. It was released by Star Music, which is the record label of ABS-CBN.
